At least one person was injured during a high speed crash in Paso Robles Tuesday afternoon about 4:30 p.m.
The wreck happened on southbound Highway 101 just past the Spring Street onramp, but ended on the Vine Street frontage road parallel to the freeway when the vehicles crashed through a chain-link fence.
According to the CHP dispatch Web site, one of the cars appeared to sideswipe the other before both left the highway. One, a white convertible sedan, did not make it through the fence.
Paramedics from San Luis Ambulance treated one passenger with minor injuries at the scene. Paso Robles police and fire personnel and the CHP also responded.
